Personality: Archie is one of the friendliest people that you’ll ever meet. There’s not many people that he doesn’t like right off the bat. And once you’re on his good side, it’s not a good idea to make him angry. While friendly, if you make him mad? Archie has a great memory – makes it easy to hold grudges. He loves to joke around. His sense of humor is a little obscure – some of his heroes growing up? The Weasley twins. His mother used to tell him stories of the actions of the brothers when he was little – one of the good things about having a parent who was around them all the time.

Archie is really smart. In school, he was a slight overachiever – he loved school. He read constantly – anything he could get his hands on. As a result, his mind is full of all kinds of random trivia. Which, he loves to just spout out. If you ask him about his strengths, he’ll probably blush and shake his head. He’s very self-conscious. His greatest fear? That people will look at him and find him as nerdy as he sometimes sees himself in the mirror.


Family Background: Archie’s parents are Septima and Baxter Vector. Septima was the Arithmancy professor at Hogwarts for years. Her health ha started to fail recently and so she’d decided to step down. Baxter worked for the Wizarding Examinations Authority. Upon his retirement, he and Septima moved from their quaint little house – where Archie had grown up – in Hogsmeade to a large country estate. They left Archie their house, and that’s where he lives today. Since both of his parents were involved in academics, school was always important in his house. His parents were constantly making sure that he studied as a child and during breaks they made sure he stayed on his path. Not that they didn’t love him – his family life was full of love – they just wanted to make sure that he realized what his education could do for him.

Character History: Archie Vector was born to two very loving parents. His parents were both very dedicated to education and so, from an early age, he was very interested in learning. His parents read to him his entire life – he would visit his mother at school whenever he could. It wasn’t often, but when the time came for him to attend Hogwarts himself, he knew his way around just fine. All of the faculty were friends of his mothers – instead of being good to him, they were very strict and hard on him. His mother was the worst. If anything, she graded his papers harder than anyone else’s. Which, he didn’t mind – she was doing what she could for him.

In the four years since he’s graduated Hogwarts, Archie has spent some time working with the Ministry. He worked with his father in the Wizarding Examinations Authority. He loved his job – it gave him a chance to stay involved in academia without actually being in school. However, when his mother told him over the summer that she was going to be retiring, he set up an appointment with the Headmaster to apply for the position that she would be vacating. He got the position without much hassle – luckily, she still remembered him from his years at the school.

Miscellaneous: Archie has this uncanny ability to set people at ease. He can make people relaxed – they tend to trust him. He is also a far flyer – not great, but he manages to make it.
